Alberta Health Services (AHS), in partnership with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, is planning for the development of a centre for child and adolescent mental health in the community of Hounsfield Heights – Briar Hill in Calgary on the former AADAC site in the 1000 block of 17A Street NW.
Community Engagement Workshop – August 23, 2018 @ 6pm
As a part of the planning for these services, we are hosting a number of small conversation sessions where we want to hear from the community. This will be an opportunity for you to ask questions, voice concerns, provide feedback and learn more.

Online Community Discussion Forum
The HHBH Community Association has created an online community forum for residents of Hounsfield Heights Briar Hill to discuss this initiative. Not only will this forum will be one of the first places that the Community Association will post updates pertaining to this initiative but, in that all members of the forum can post to it, it also provides a mechanism for residents to pose questions and discuss the initiative amongst themselves.
To join the online community forum:
- Visit https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/hh-bh-ahs-redevelopment
- Select “Sign in to view this group”
- Sign in with any existing Google/Gmail account you have. If you don’t have one, simply select Create Account and use your existing email address (it doesn’t have to be Gmail!). Follow the instructions provided to complete account creation and your email address will then be associated with a Google account that you can use to sign in to the group.
- Click “Apply for membership” and complete the pop-up window that appears
