Yoga for Wellbeing Spring 2019

Description: Connect with a deeper sense of your being. This 10-week program offers gentle yoga poses and movement with breath awareness practices and the mindfulness–based meditation of iRest® yoga nidra. iRest yoga nidra is a guided meditation of deep relaxation and inquiry. Widely gaining scientific attention, the practice is profoundly simple and deeply transformative. Through a gentle, meditative approach, Claudia teaches hatha yoga for adults of all ages with bodies of varying abilities. Classes are geared towards calming the mind and opening the body with a focus on developing an internal awareness of movement and breath. Claudia pays special attention to the needs of individuals and invites students to make the practice their own, adapting poses to meet their own capacity.
