Outdoor Soccer Referees Needed
This is a job that pays! A training session is mandatory and provided by the community association. This is a great way for you to be involved in our community. If you have already taken the training, you are not required to attend again. You may retake the training if you would like to refresh your skills. If you are 12 years of age or older and interested in becoming a referee for the 2017 outdoor soccer season with HHBH, please contact Melissa Hagg at firstname.lastname@example.org or 403-284-2410.
Community Clean-up Leader
Hounsfield Heights-Briar Hill is looking for people to lead our annual community clean up event. This annual event brings people from the community together, provides friends and families an opportunity to work together for a good cause, and helps to keep our neighbourhood clean and safe. If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact Patricia at 587-703-9739 or email events@ hh-bh.ca
Sears Plume Director
The Sears Plume Director is our community’s representative who communicates directly with Sears Canada Inc. and Clifton Associates Ltd. This position involves informing residents regularly about the Sears Plume and its remediation process by submitting monthly reports to our community board meetings, and yearly reports at our AGM. As well, updates and communications from Sears and Clifton are distributed to residents through The Beacon and are posted on our website
This director will work with Gunter Sammet, our current director, to supervise the facility manager who is a paid employee of our association. Our gym is very important to our community as it allows us to offer sports programs to residents of all ages. Along with the board room, its rental is also an important source of income to other groups. The co-directors work together to make sure that the building is maintained and that the facility is run smoothly and efficiently.
If any of these opportunities appeal to you, please contact the president, Laura Hunt. We would love to have you join our community association board!
