City Council Approves Final Recommendations
On May 8, 2017, Council unanimously approved the recommended short-, medium- and long-term plans for Crowchild Trail.
Funding for the short-term recommendations was approved by Council April 24, 2017.
Construction is anticipated to start in fall 2017.
The medium- and long-term plans are recommended to be implemented beyond 10 years. The plans are currently not funded within The City's Investing in Mobility Capital Plan. This means we do not expect to acquire private properties, or begin design and construction of the medium-term plan for approximately 10 years. More information is available at calgary.ca/crowchild.
